Barraca is one cool place to eat proper paellas and rice dishes with organic ingredients and seafood. Guido Weinberg, the owner of the restaurant, is also behind the Woki Organic Market. Barraca is a nice restaurant with great views of the Mediterranean Sea, but the most important thing here is the food: chef Xavier Pellicer, who used to work at Michelin-starred restaurants such as Can Fabes or Àbac, consults for Guido and is in love with organic and biodynamic fruits and vegetables and is one of the pioneers in introducing these quality ingredients into normal restaurants, not just macrobiotic or vegetarian. Pellicer is used to the best seasonal product available, and is in close contact with those who provide the ingredients for his cooking, so no worries here about where everything comes from.
